Boxing Day tips for shopping in Guildford

After Christmas a few people will be using Boxing Day as a way to make the most out of the sales that many shops will be putting on. With this in mind, here's a few tips to get the most of your Boxing Day shopping experience in town:
-
Will you hunt for a bargain on Boxing Day?
Note the opening/closing times
Some stores will be opening remarkably early. Department stores like House of Fraser and Debenhams will be opening their stores early whilst the Friary Centre will be open from 9am to 8pm.
Buy seasonal
If you're hunting for clothes remember that it's better to buy things that will be useful for the rest of winter.
Hunt down some bargains from independent shops
It is tempting to go somewhere like Muji and Urban Outfitters but what about places like People or Pandora. There's loads of small shops to see in town and you might find an unexpected bargain.
If you can't find anything, don't worry
Most sales run for a few weeks yet and the chances are if you decide to wait you'll almost certainly find something, eventually.
