Thousands of people cheered from the roadside as some of the world's best riders raced through the town for the climax of the annual race, which saw Britain's Jonathan Tiernan-Locke become overall winner.
British pair Kristian House and Peter Williams won King of the Mountain and Sprint jerseys.
Spectators watched a double-helping of racing from the High Street as riders poured through the town twice during the Surrey leg.
Guildford dad Craig Hart, who brought his wife Sarah and four-year-old son Edward, to enjoy the race, said: "It's like the Olympics all over again. It's amazing to see so many people here and shows just how far British cycling has come."
