Several events to mark the Jubilee took place over the weekend.
Boileroom street party: This took place all afternoon near the popular music venue and got a very good turnout (and the best weather over the weekend too). Some local bands played acoustic sets and the Guildford branch of Lush was also there.
The Good Intent Puttenham Beer & Music Festival :Thankfully there were plenty of gazebos to hide people from the rain at this beer and music festival.
Surrey County Show: The weather always seems to be a bit amiss come the County Show but it's still a popular event in the local calendar. Mark Walles, a chiropractic based in Woking, wrote a blog about his experience at the event and also took some photos for us.
The lighting of the Jubilee Beacon: Arguably the most spectacular event of the weekend, this saw a procession of hundreds march from town centre to the Mount, overlooking Guildford and beyond, for the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon.
Farmer's Market: There was a Jubilee theme running through June's Farmer's Market with bunting and flags all over the place.
