Guildford's Harriet Sharman enters Miss Galaxy finals

A BEAUTY therapist from Guildford has made it through to the finals of a national beauty pageant.

Harriet Sharman, 22, of Guildford, is through to the finals of a national beauty pageant.

Harriet hopes to represent England in the Miss Galaxy competition.
Harriet Sharman, 22, previously got to the semi finals of Miss England 2012, and has now been entered into the grand finals of Miss Galaxy.
The competition is being held on March 3 in Lancashire. Harriet, a former Guildford College student, has chosen to help raise money for the charity Shooting Stars Chase as part of her bid.
If she wins she will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to represent England in the USA at the Galaxy World finals.
Harriet, who works as an aesthetics practitioner in Guildford, said: "I'm really excited about the competition - it's a great way to meet new people with the same interests as me and to get involved in more charity work.
"I am amazed and happy at all the support from people and companies around Surrey, especially my old college. I feel like everyone is behind me and supporting me."
