Will Guildford get snow over the next few days?

With the whole of the country expecting to suffer over the next week or so with chilly temperatues there is also a risk of snow in some parts. Is there a chance that Guildford might also be snowed under?

The short answer is no. 

The only forecast of snow is for a light shower on the 6th February but that forecast could also change nearer the time. As for the immediate future, temperatues are going to be icy with the highest set to be 4°C on Sunday and the lowest set to -4°C on Thursday and Friday. That said, it's also forecast to be a sunny week with very little rain. These temperatures are also below the average you'd expect for this time of year, about 6-8°C  is what would normally be expected.
