IPCC continues investigation into Hogs Back police car fatality

AN INVESTIGATION is continuing after a 21-year-old pedestrian died in a collision involving a police car on the A31 Hogs Back near Guildford.
The man, who has not yet been named, died at the scene of the collision which involved a Surrey Police marked patrol car.
The westbound carriageway of the A31 was closed for several hours following the collision at 3.34am on Saturday (December 1) at Puttenham.
The fatal incident was referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission who said today (December 5) it had been liaising with the family of the deceased. Further information is due to follow.
