Jewellery stolen from Guildford home

A CHERISHED family pendant was among jewellery stolen in a broad daylight burglary in Guildford.

Police are appealing for any witnesses following the burglary in Woodlands Close, Slyfield Green.
A Brequet watch and a collection of gold ingots were also stolen from a home in Woodlands Close, Slyfield Green, between 11am and 5pm on Thursday, October 25.
The locket on a gold chain contained a photograph of a Chinese man in military uniform next to a young woman.
Other property stolen included rings, necklaces and bracelets along with designer handbags and cameras.
The offenders are believed to have climbed a fence to gain entrance to the property.
DC James West, from Guildford CID, said: "This burglary took place in broad daylight and we are asking for anyone who may have been in the local area and witnessed any suspicious activity to come forward.
"Some of these items are of great sentimental value to the victim in this case. I would appeal to anyone who may know of their whereabouts or has been offered any of these items for sale to contact us as a matter of urgency."
