A SUGAR producer from Malawi will be speaking at St Mary's Church in Guildford this weekend as part of Fairtrade Fortnight.

Henry Matende will be talking about how the foundation, which aims to provide a better deal for Third World producers, has helped provide safe, clean water and build a local clinic.

The event is being run by Guildford Fairtrade steering group and runs from 10am to 2pm on Saturday (March 9) at St Mary's Church in Quarry Street. Free Fairtrade refreshments available.
