Police appeal for help after bouncer in Guildford attacked with baseball bat

Surrey Police are looking for two men who are suspected of attacking a bouncer outside the Casino nightclub in Guildford.
A 32-year-old had been punched in the head and hit repeatedly with a baseball bat at around 4am on the 15th December.
Surveillance cameras saw two men swimming in the canal next to the Odeon cinema in Bedford Road and police believe these them to be suspects.
One man is 6ft 2in tall and wore a white long-sleeved jacket, black jeans and black trainers whilst the second man was a little shorter (5ft 10in) and wore a black jacket and blue jeans.
After they attacked the bouncer they walked past the Subway before approaching the canal towpath before proceeding to jump into the river.
"The suspects have deliberately sought the victim out and subjected him to a nasty attack," said Detective Constable Russ McPhillips.
"This man was simply trying to do his job and has been left with some nasty cuts and bruises as a result.
"We are appealing to anyone who witnessed any part of this incident or anyone with any other information which could help us track the offenders down and bring them to justice, to come forward as a matter of urgency."
