Stephanie Gates YOUR Insurance Young Achiever of the Year Finalist

Good luck to YOUR Insurance Customer Service Team Leader, Stephanie Gates – she's been shortlisted for the Guildford Insurance Institute's Young Achiever of the Year Award.

She joined the High Street based firm in 2010 as a Customer Services Adviser and within eight months was promoted to Team Leader, also covering a vacant manager's role until it was filled.  In a short space of time, Stephanie led a recruitment drive, oversaw system updates and project-managed the implementation of a new IT system.

Within six months of starting her Chartered Insurance Institute studies, she'd gained her CII Certificate and now encourages others within her team to do the same.

Twenty-four year-old Stephanie joins three other finalists in the Award ceremony taking place tonight at the Glive Conference Centre in Guildford, hoping to win £250 and a trophy.

The Award recognises the outstanding achievement of people aged under 35, working in the insurance and financial services sector.   Judges comprise members of the Guildford Insurance Institute and the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Students passing the CII exams will also be recognised.
