However, if you look past all the national chain shops you'll stumble across some hidden gems that are well worth a look. Here's a brief guide to the five best independent shops in town that are worth checking out.

They have so many vintage vinyl that there just isn't enough space to contain it all, so you'd do them a favour by taking lots of stock off them! You can also find some bargains across the catalogues of classic artists like David Bowie, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and many, many more.
A wide range of flowers can be found in this lovely florists. They also provide a delivery service which is top-notch and the atmosphere in the store is always friendly and vibrant.
