It's sad to hear that Guildford Heat have hit financial problems again.
It seems that they are teetering on the brink of administration just two years since local businessman Alan McClafferty took the club out of bankruptcy...
Now Guildford's top basketball club is looking for a new sponsor, investor or even a new owner.
And Alan admits that as a last resort, he's prepared to sell-up for next to nothing:
"My first and foremost would be that, there are a number of headquarters in Guildford, lots of world class companies.
"The kind of money that we're looking for in terms of sponsorship and the exposure we could give them as a sponsor, they could be 'Company X - Guildford Heat', we could name the club after them.
"If we can't find them, my next bet would be an investor, someone who wants to come in and own a part of the club.
"My third option would be, if someone only had enough money to make sure the club ran, but not enough money to pay me for the club, if I felt they were a strong investor and could take the club forward, I would sell the club for £1."
Do you know anyone who might be interested or willing to help?
