GUILDFORD folk with a love for all things kitsch are next month (March, 2013) invited to a 1940s and 50s party night with live music at a bar in the town.

Natalie Ross and her band will be performing at Bar des Arts, which is located opposite the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Millbrook, on March 2 from 8pm.

Sara Burks, Co-owner of Bar des Arts, said: “Our vintage party night is a great opportunity for people to get dressed up and indulge in all things retro.

“Natalie will be performing tracks from her new EP on the night and there will also be live vintage acts entertaining the audience.”

Tickets are priced £2. Advance booking is essential. To book tickets and reserve a table, please call Bar des Arts on 01483 453227 or email info@bardesarts.co.uk.

Sara added: “Natalie is a regular performer at the popular Goodwood Revival and we are looking forward to hearing some quirky 40s inspired songs.

“There will be a free cupcake on arrival, as well as a vintage-inspired cocktail menu, including the special ‘Natalie Ross’ cocktail. People are welcome to come along in their vintage gear and enjoy the party.”

Bar des Arts is a café by day and a wine and cocktail bar by night. A range of wine, beers, cocktails and soft drinks are available to purchase, along with tapas. The bar hosts a variety of events and exhibitions, including live music, dance performances, open mic nights and many more.

The vintage party night will take place at Bar des Arts on Saturday, March 2 from 8pm.
