Media release for Bar des Arts
If you haven’t met him yet…
MICHAEL Bublé fans from Guildford will be treated to a selection of the singer’s most famous hits performed by a tribute act at a bar in the town next month (February, 2013).
Tribute artist Albie J Smith will be at Bar des Arts, which is located opposite the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Millbrook, on Thursday, February 7 from 8pm.
Sara Burks, Co-owner of Bar des Arts, said: “Michael Bublé has become a worldwide pop sensation and we are really looking forward to welcoming back one of his best tribute acts to play at the bar.
“Albie J will transform into the smooth singer and perform all of Michael’s well-known hits. His confident stage presence and velvet vocals will ensure it is a great night for all.”
Tickets for the tribute evening cost £10 per person. Booking is advisable and can be done by calling the bar on 01483 453227.
Sara added: “Albie J, who is from Berkshire, started singing at a young age and was inspired by Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. As well as his tribute act, Albie is also a talented singer-songwriter and has worked with the likes of Ne-Yo and Missy Elliott.
“He has performed as Michael Bublé at venues across the country and abroad. He has been a huge hit with our audience each time he’s played at the bar so we decided to invite him back again.”
Bar des Arts is a café by day and a wine and cocktail bar by night. A range of wine, beers, cocktails and soft drinks are available to purchase, along with tapas. The bar hosts a variety of events and exhibitions, including live music, dance performances, open mic nights and many more.
Albie J will be singing as Michael Bublé at Bar des Arts on Thurday, February 7 from 8pm.
