Spring Concert - Opera Plus

Guildford Opera invites you to their spring concert at Holy Trinity Church, High Street, Guildford GU1 3HJ at 7.30pm. The programme of opera cameos and other musical treats has been devised by their resident Musical Director Francis Griffin. It will include favourite choruses and arias, with highlights from recent productions of Lucia di Lammermoor and Otello and tasters from their forthcoming productions of Bellini’s La Sonnambula (The Sleepwalker) and Bizet’s Carmen.They will be joined by soloists Yuri Sabatini (tenor), Jim Davis (bass) and the stunning soprano Eleanor Briggs to sing arias by Mozart, Donizetti and Verdi and accompanied by talented pianist Matthew Rickard who will also perform a solo.
