CABARET fans from Guildford are next month (September, 2013) invited to see a West End star take to the stage as his alter-ego at a bar in the town.
Actor and singer, Nathan Kiley, will be performing as Topsie Redfern at Bar des Arts on September 5 from 8pm.
Sara Burks, Co-owner of Bar des Arts, which is located opposite the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, said: “We are thrilled to have Nathan visit us at the bar and we are really looking forward to his alter-ego Topsie getting on-stage to sing a few tunes for us.”
Nathan has been a professional performer since 2005 and made his West End debut in 2009 playing Mary Sunshine in Chicago alongside Jerry Springer, Michelle Williams and Leigh Zimmerman.
He went on to form his own drag cabaret act and now regularly performs as Topsie, who was recently a runner-up in Drag Idol UK 2013.
Entry on the night will cost £5 per person. Booking is essential and can be done by calling the bar on 01483 453227.
Bar des Arts is a café by day and a wine and cocktail bar by night. A range of wine, beers, cocktails and soft drinks are available to purchase, along with meat or cheese platters. The bar hosts a variety of events and exhibitions, including live music, dance performances, open mic nights and many more.
Nathan will be performing at Topsie Redfern at Bar des Arts on Thursday, September 5 from 8pm.
