CHRISTMAS shoppers in Guildford are being invited to have their gifts wrapped this month (December, 2012) at a bar in the town.
Shoppers can get their festive purchases wrapped and enjoy two glasses of champagne for the price of one at Bar des Arts on December 22.
Sara Burks, Co-owner of Bar des Arts, which is located opposite the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Millbrook, said: “We wanted to offer people in Guildford a chance to relax after a tiring day of Christmas shopping.
“Shoppers can come into the bar on Saturday, December 22 from 2pm until 6pm when we will be running a two for one offer on glasses of champagne for people aged 18 and over.
“People who spend £10 or more at the bar in December will be able to bring their own wrapping paper and ribbons and we’ll wrap their gifts for free.”
Bar des Arts is a café by day and a wine and cocktail bar by night. A range of wine, beers, cocktails and soft drinks are available to purchase, along with tapas. The bar hosts a variety of events and exhibitions, including live music, dance performances, open mic nights and many more.
Sara added: “Our new winter lunch menu is also available, which includes hot dishes from £7.95, soup served with fresh crusty bread for £5.25, a ploughmans platter for £6.50, baked and sweet potatoes with a choice of toppings for £5.50 or a range of sandwiches from £5.25.”
The gift-wrapping and champagne offers will be available at Bar des Arts on Saturday, December 22 from 2pm until 6pm.
