SINGLETONS looking for love next month (February, 2014) can attend a single's night at Bar des Arts in Guildford and enjoy acoustic music from a singer-songwriter championed by BBC Radio London.
D'lys will be performing at Bar des Arts, which is located opposite the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Millbrook, during its singles night on February 14 from 8pm.
D'lys said: "I'm thrilled to be performing at Bar des Arts on the most romantic night of the year. I hope lots of people come along to the singles night, not only to meet new people but also to enjoy the music.
"I will be playing a variety of well-loved songs on the night as well as tracks from my new album 'Find me an Angel."
D'lys' album is inspired by a variety of musicians including Lionel Ritchie, Kings of Leon and Julio Iglesias.
Last year (2013) the singer-songwriter was selected by record label Warner Bros to support their number one selling artist, Emilia Mitiku, in the UK. She has also supported 'Leo' of multi-platinum selling act, The Streets and Joss Stone's band Yes Sir Boss.
Sara Burks, Co-owner of Bar des Arts, said: "We can't wait for our singles night and for D'lys to perform.
"Anyone who comes along will have the chance to meet a variety of likeminded people and chat to them over a couple of cocktails. They can also enjoy an acoustic set from D'lys. It looks set to be a great night and we hope lots of people enjoy the music and find love."
Entry to the evening is free. Booking is advisable and can be done by calling the bar on 01483 453227.
