Expansion at the ACM

Guildford's

Academy of Contemporary Music has recently unveiled plans for a

significant expansion of their facilities.

They plan on

opening a new Artist Development Centre in September which will

house creative resources and high tech facilities across two floors

including:

• Demo

Theatre

• Audient

Recording Studio & Live Room

• 8

Practice Rooms

• Yamaha

Keyboard Studio

• Music

Business Lecture Room

The

building which was previously a pub is currently undergoing a major

renovation by the company who carried out the Rodborough renovations

in 2000.

The

ACM says

"ACM’s focus has always been to integrate Music Industry and

Education, providing students with career opportunities through its

Business and Artist Development Team, and this new expansion will

help to broaden the facilities available to the students."
