Summer is nearly over, it's time to pamper yourself

With the school

holidays approaching their end it's a sure sign that autumn is

approaching fast. There's a nip in the air in the mornings and it

won't be long before the first frosts start to appear. Those balmy

days by the pool on holiday are rapidly fading into the distance and

so it might be time to start thinking about pampering yourself a

little.

This part of the

country is packed with exclusive hotels and health spas, but did you

know quite how much Guildford itself has to offer?

Esterel Health Spa is a

short walk from the High Street in the town centre not far from the

Museum on Quarry Street. They offer a huge range of treatments from

pedicures to full body aromatherapy massages. They also have a new

special offer every month so they are certainly worth checking out.

They currently offer 25% of your first visit.

Another town centre

place worth a look is the Relaxation Rooms. They offer a range of

treatments for both men and women ranging from an eyebrow wax through

to whole pampering days. They are on North Street.

If you want something a

little more energetic then why not try GYM? If you're anything like

me you've probably driven past it hundreds of times without going in.

They are in the New Building above Frankie and Benny's in Woodbridge

Meadows. They have everthing you'd expect and more besides and they

are open 24 hours a day. You don't even need to commit to a contract

if you want to join. Seriously, this is a new concept in health and

fitness and you won't find much better.

The Forte Posthouse on

Egerton Road has a Spirit Health Club which has all the standard

exercise facilities, but if that's a little too strenuous for your

taste they have a pool, a sauna and steam room as well as a Jacuzzi.

They also offer a range of beauty treatments for both men and women.

They offer short term membership so you won't be tied in for years.
