With Gordon Brown hemorrhaging popularity faster than the Oil Platform in the Gulf of Mexico is losing oil the stage looks set for David Cameron to step up to the job of Prime Minister.

But the Governor of the Bank of England Mervyn King has been reported as saying that whoever wins will end up so unpopular that they will be out of office for a generation afterwards.

I firmly believe he is wrong and the Conservative plans to boost the economy by helping businesses will only help, but just in case he is right lets all go and vote for Brown...

Only kidding, my money is on Cameron to buck the trend.
