£40,000 ice cream van stolen from storage yard in Guildford

A £40,000 ice cream van has been stolen from a yard in Guildford and Surrey Police are appealling to the public for information that can help them find it.
The van itself is a blue and white Mercedes van with the company name Waynes Whippy on the side.
It was stolen from a storage yard, where it's kept during the winter, by the Wood Street area of Guildford between 10am on the 5th January and 11am on the 10th January when it was discovered missing.
"This is a distinctive vehicle and may well look out of place if it is being driven around or is parked up in the vicinity at this time of year," said Detective Constable Mark Fordham of Guildford CID.
"I am appealing for anyone who may have seen the ice cream van, which has the registration YF01 4NBZ, or knows of its whereabouts, to contact officers as soon as possible."
Anyone with information about the burglaries is urged to call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference quoting reference GD12/278. Alternatively, they can also anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
