As for me, one of the best curries I've ever had. The spicy Ghurka Revenge is definitely my thing. The momo starter has an extra kick to the mince, really nice. Also their garlic bread is fresh and great tasting, and even their lime pickle is different and better tasting from what you standardly get in a curry house, even a good one.

I completely agree with other reviews, after been in many restaurant Café Gurkhas is the best .The Gurkha revenge and Gurkha Rifal was fantastic. Food has always been excellent, staffs are friendly and smart. What we found was a very relaxed Nepalese restaurant, serving the best food that we had before. My husband had the most beautiful Chicken Kurma .. It is one of the best restaurant in Guildford.
I have been to a million indian restaurants and some times find them a little overpriced with low quality food, the cafe gurkha is very different. Maniche is a great friendly host, who makes you feel very welcome, the food is exciting and well priced, the menu is extensive and there is something to suit every palate. Would recommend this restaurant, very highly.

The ghurkha restuarant in broad street is what was known as the Hare & Hounds on the road to Woodstreet Village.
My Wife and i have been eating here regularly since we moved into the area in May this year 2010 and everytime we go to Cafe-Gurhkha the food is absolutely fantastic and recommend it anytime.
The friendly atmospere is relaxed and with a quirky sort of ambience.
You will be greeted by Maniche who is the owner or his manager Martin who both have a wealth of experience well you would expect this as they are both Nepalese. Bon Appetite as we say.
