ORIGINAL ARTICLE:
It's been a while coming - we were originally promised it on Thursday and then promised Saturday but nothing came of it - but snow has finally hit Guildford.
However, in what must be refreshing for commuters, no major disruption has of yet been caused by the newest downpour.
Despite the fact that snow has been falling all day and it has been ranging from heavy to light. This has meant that buses have been able to move around the area.
However, Arriva have said that, whilst buses are still operating, they are subject to delays and with conditions currently worsening the situation is being kept under review.
As far as trains go, they are largely unaffected and are running as normal.
More snow is expected for tomorrow morning but it should clear by the afternoon.
As the snow continues to fall we will keep you posted on all the latest developments as far as public transport goes.
However, we do stress that the best thing to do would be to check with your travel operator before you travel.
